Ismaël Mejía
Ismaël Mejía is a Senior Cloud Advocate at Microsoft, working on the Azure Data and AI teams. He has over a decade of experience architecting systems for startups and financial companies. He has recently been focused on distributed data systems.
He is an active contributor to many open-source projects like Apache Beam (Google Dataflow SDK) and Apache Avro and is a member of the Apache Software Foundation.

Wojtek Gawroński
Wojtek is a Senior Developer Advocate at AWS, dedicated to the Central and Eastern European region.
Working with Cloud Computing and Data Engineering since 2015, in different roles, starting as an IT Operations Engineer, Software Engineer, and Cloud Architect. Functional programming and Serverless architecture aficionado.
He's a 9x-certified AWS specialist, speaker, lecturer & content creator

Steve Upton
Steve is a Quality Analyst at Thoughtworks who works to build empowered teams, capable of delivering and taking ownership of quality. He has worked on a wide variety of products, from mainframes to microservices, and has a particular interest in complex socio-technical systems and how we work with them.
He is passionate about complexity theory, building quality into the culture, and testing as part of continuous delivery in modern, distributed architectures.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys travel and mountains.

Java and Web Technologies Expert
Cătălin Tudose
Cătălin Tudose graduated with a degree in Computer Science in 1997 in Bucharest. He also holds a Ph.D. in this field.
He has more than 20 years in the IT field and more than 15 years in the Java area and is currently acting as a Java and Web technologies expert at Luxoft Romania.
Cătălin has developed 3 courses for Pluralsight on topics related to JUnit 5: “TDD with JUnit 5”, “Java BDD Fundamentals” and “Implementing a Test Pyramid Strategy in Java”. Besides the IT field and mathematics, Cătălin is interested in world culture and soccer.

Big Data Engineer & Software Architect
Viorel Bibiloiu
With over 6 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, over the past two years, Viorel’s interests shifted toward big data projects.
His current focus is to deliver reliable, scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient solutions on-premise or in the cloud, using big data technologies such as Hortonworks, Spark, Cassandra, and Kafka.
Viorel has extensive experience in implementing data pipelines and highly scalable streaming applications, also holding multiple certifications among which Apache Cassandra 3. x Developer Associate (DataStax) and Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.

Team Leader in PCI Express Competence Center
Sorin Vultureanu
Sorin Vultureanu is a Team Leader in the PCI Express Competence Center at Bosch Engineering Center Cluj with more than 10 years of experience in embedded software development and 5 years in team and product leadership.
His current focus is to develop high-performance, feature-rich, and reliable PCI Express communication stacks for automotive projects. Sorin has vast expertise in embedded communication stacks and protocols. He has developed, lead & managed multiple projects in this area.
Andrei Craciun is a system architect at Bosch Engineer Center Cluj. Experienced Developer and Mentor both in academic and business environments, he is a veteran of software development with more than two decades of knowledge and skills acquired.
After working in many teams and ecosystems he considers that the key to good architecture is the perfect balance between low coupling and high cohesion.

IT industry has been one of her passions since she was a student. She graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control & Computers, at University POLITEHNICA Bucharest. She holds 2 master’s degrees in Complex Systems, at the same University, & another one in Business at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
She has worked in Software Development for companies in both private and public sectors, and throughout her career, She was involved in many complex & challenging projects. Her professional specialties include Leading SAFe, CSM, PMP, Prince2, ITIL, Lean, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Project Management, Product Management, Lead cross-functional and virtual teams in software development.

Co-founder
Bogdan Vizureanu
Bogdan is one of the co-founders of Code for Romania and he is currently one of the Technology Officers that help in coordinating the project teams and in delivering the civic apps the organization’s volunteers are working on.
Having over 10 years of experience in .Net, flavoring from version 2.0 in a POS Windows application, to multi-tenant Azure enterprise solutions, Bogdan is also a Technical Team Lead for a technology company whenever he is not managing the coding teams in the biggest civic tech ONG in Romania.
